Fairie death

As the fairy dead walk
Around the portals of their past
Lands once that was fair
Now are at their darkest

That was kind of spooky this one, but I enjoyed it all the same.

This has an eerie quality and a good rhyming scheme. I enjoyed it.

This raises lots of questions...do fairies die?  it seems that they never really do, so perhaps it would be dangerous to walk and follow their path....

Grammar point here:
Lands once that was fair
Now are at their darkest

Since lands is plural it should be:  Lands once that were fair.
